1940s West German Glass Cameo Earrings with Color Changing jewel Tones and Gold Hand Painted Silhouettes in Gold Art Deco

These earrings are one of a kind and so special!! They feature 1940s West German Glass Intaglio cameos, also known as "reverse carved" cameos, hand painted from the back and smooth glass on the front. The women's silhouettes face each other, which is rare, and their heads are painted in gold! The negative space backing around them is a beautiful color-changing jewel toned rainbow palette! They will flicker in shades of rich purple, gold, green, orange & pink. The cameos are set in aged brass frames with shiny gold swirls. From the bottom hangs a very "Deco-esque" fan shape in gold plate. They are 2 5/8" long and come on gold plated leverback hooks. All metals used are lead & nickel free for your comfort and for the utmost quality of my jewelry!
